A bungalow in the heart of the fishing village of Jambiani, a few steps from the white sandy beach. It sits in a peaceful shared tropical garden with coconut palms, papaya trees and banana plants, with a hammock and sunbeds for relaxing. The bungalow has a double bedroom with a ceiling fan and mosquito net, a private bathroom with a hot pressure shower, a kitchenette and a veranda. There is no air conditioning, but wide no-glass windows and the ceiling fan let in the ocean breeze. Bedsheets and towels are 100% cotton. The kitchenette has a gas cooker, a fridge and basic kitchen utensils. The building has a fence wall and bars on the windows for privacy and security. Cleaning once a week is included. Extra services are available: continental breakfast (20,000 TZS per person), laundry (15,000 TZS), and airport transfer (130,000 TZS). The host can help arrange excursions, sports activities, and bike and scooter rental. Note that Zanzibar has frequent power cuts, so guests are asked to turn off lights and the fan when leaving.
