1° Floor Garden Bungalow near the Beach in Jambiani

A bungalow in the heart of the fishing village of Jambiani, a few steps from the white sandy beach. It sits in a peaceful tropical garden with coconut palms, papaya trees and banana plants, with a hammock and sunbeds. The bungalow has a double bedroom with a ceiling fan and mosquito net, a private bathroom with a hot pressure shower, a kitchenette with a gas cooker, fridge and basic utensils, and a veranda. There is no air conditioning, but wide no-glass windows and the ceiling fan let the ocean breeze through. Bedsheets and towels are 100% cotton. The building has a fence wall and bars on the windows for privacy and security. Cleaning once a week is included. Extras: continental breakfast 20,000 TZS per person, laundry 15,000 TZS, airport transfer 130,000 TZS. Zanzibar has frequent power cuts; there is no backup generator, but bulbs have battery backup and water supply is guaranteed during outages. Guests share the tropical garden. The host can help arrange excursions, sports activities, and bike and scooter rental.
